Pool Repair in Las Vegas

Small problems in a desert pool tend to grow. We diagnose what's wrong, explain it in plain terms, and quote the repair before we touch anything.

Repairs we handle

Most pool repairs fall into a handful of categories. If you're not sure which one your problem is, describe what you're seeing and we'll take it from there.

Tile and coping

Loose or cracked waterline tile, missing grout and lifted coping stones, reset and sealed so water stays out of the bond beam.

Pool and spa lights

Lights that flicker, trip the breaker or fill with water. We check the fixture, the seal and the wiring, then repair or replace.

Skimmers and returns

Cracked skimmer throats, broken weirs and lids, and damaged return fittings that let air in or water out.

Valves and plumbing

Stuck or leaking diverter valves, cracked pipes at the pad, and plumbing changes when equipment moves.

Surface cracks

Hairline and structural cracks assessed and patched, with an honest view of whether a patch will last.

Safety items

Missing or damaged drain covers, loose handrails and ladder bumpers, and gate latches near the pool.

Why desert pools need repairs

Heat is hard on everything around a pool. Summer sun bakes coping and tile grout, plastic fittings turn brittle, and big day-to-night temperature swings make materials expand and contract over and over. Hard water adds scale that jams valves and stresses equipment. Wind blows grit into the system, and the occasional monsoon storm can wash debris in and test drainage around the deck.

The result is a steady list of small failures: a loose tile here, a light seal there. Catching them early keeps them small. A loose tile left alone lets water reach the bond beam, and a slow drip at a fitting can wash out soil under the deck.

How a repair visit works

  1. Tell us what's happening. A photo or short video sent along with your request helps us bring the right parts.
  2. Diagnosis on site. We find the cause, not just the symptom, and check nearby parts that tend to fail together.
  3. Quote before work. You get the repair options and prices in writing. Nothing is done without your approval.
  4. Repair and test. Once approved, we make the repair and run the system to confirm everything is working.

When a repair points to something bigger

Sometimes a repair is a sign of another issue. Water loss after a fix may mean there's more to find, which is where leak detection comes in. Pumps, filters and heaters have their own page under equipment repair. Widespread cracking, rough plaster or heavy staining may mean the surface is near the end of its life and resurfacing is the better investment. We'll tell you which situation you're in.

Repair pricing depends on parts and time. Call for a current quote.

Related work: if algae has taken over, start with green pool cleanup. Pump, filter and heater problems are covered under pool equipment repair, and worn or rough plaster under pool resurfacing.

Pool repair FAQ

Do you charge to diagnose a problem?

Diagnostic visits may carry a service call fee. Call for a current quote, and we'll explain on the phone how it applies if you go ahead with the repair.

Can you repair tile without draining the pool?

Often, yes. Many waterline tile repairs can be done with the water lowered a little or with underwater-set materials. Larger tile jobs may need a partial drain.

Can you match my existing tile?

We'll try. Older tiles are sometimes discontinued, so we'll show you the closest matches or suggest a matching accent band.

Do you work on HOA and community pools?

Yes. We can provide written quotes and photos for board approval, and schedule repairs around pool hours.

How fast can you come out?

It depends on the week and your area. Call {{PHONE}} and we'll give you the next available time.
