Pool Leak Repair in Las Vegas
Once the leak is located, we fix it: skimmers, fittings, light niches, underground lines and cracks, with the price agreed before work starts.
From found leak to fixed leak
Finding a leak is half the job. Pool leak repair is the other half, and the right fix depends on exactly where the water is getting out. A leak at a skimmer throat, a cracked return fitting, a failed light-niche seal and a broken suction line under the deck all lose water, but each one needs a different repair. That's why we repair leaks from a confirmed location rather than guessing and patching.
If your pool hasn't been tested yet, start with pool leak detection in Las Vegas. If you already have a leak-detection report, send it over with your request and we can quote the repair from it.
Common leak repairs
Skimmers
The joint where a skimmer meets the pool shell is a classic leak point as the deck and shell move at different rates. Small separations can be sealed; badly cracked skimmer bodies may need replacing.
Returns and fittings
Return eyeballs, main drain covers and wall fittings can loosen or crack. Many can be resealed underwater with pool-rated putty or replaced as a part.
Light niches
Water can track along the light conduit if the niche or cord seal fails. We reseal the niche and check the cord path back toward the junction box.
Plumbing lines
Once a pressure test isolates a line, we expose the leak at the located spot, replace the damaged section and retest the line before backfilling.
Shell cracks
Cracks in plaster or the shell are assessed for whether they're cosmetic or structural, then sealed with the method that suits the crack.
Equipment pad
Leaks at the pump, filter, heater or valves aren't technically pool leaks, but they waste water too. Those repairs are covered on our pool repair page.
Why fixing leaks quickly matters here
In the Las Vegas valley, a pool already loses a noticeable amount of water to evaporation, especially through the long summer. A leak on top of that adds to the water bill, makes chemistry harder to hold because you're constantly adding fresh fill water, and can wash out the soil under the deck. Water that escapes around the shell can also undermine coping and decking over time. A small, early repair is almost always cheaper than chasing the damage later.
How a leak repair visit works
- Confirm the location. We review the detection results, or test first if the leak hasn't been located.
- Quote before work. You get the repair method and price up front. Nothing starts without your approval.
- Repair. Underwater repairs are often done in one visit. Plumbing and structural repairs are scheduled around access and any parts needed.
- Verify. Lines are pressure-tested after repair, and we'll show you how to track the water level for the next few days.
We handle leak repair across Las Vegas, Henderson and Summerlin. Once the leak is fixed, regular pool service and cleaning helps you spot any new water loss early.
Pool leak repair FAQ
Can a leak be repaired without draining the pool?
Many can. Skimmer, return, light-niche and fitting leaks are often sealed underwater. Structural cracks and some plumbing repairs may need a partial drain or excavation, and we'll explain why before any work is quoted.
How do I know the repair worked?
After a repair, we recommend a follow-up bucket test or a few days of water-level tracking. If the loss is back to normal evaporation, the leak is fixed. If not, there may be a second leak, which is common in older pools.
Do you repair underground plumbing leaks?
Yes, once a pressure test has pinned the leak to a specific line. The repair usually means opening a small section of deck or soil at the located spot rather than digging up the whole run.
How much does leak repair cost?
It depends on where the leak is and how it's repaired. Call for a quote once the leak has been located; you'll get the price before any work starts.
