How can I tell if my pool is leaking or just evaporating?

Try a bucket test. Set a bucket of pool water on a step so the water levels inside and outside match, mark both, turn the pump off, and compare after 24 hours. If the pool drops noticeably more than the bucket, you probably have a leak. Repeat with the pump running; a difference between the two results hints at where the leak is.

How much water loss is normal in Las Vegas?

Evaporation is high in the desert, especially in summer heat, low humidity and wind, so some daily loss is normal. Loss that clearly outpaces a bucket test, wet spots near the pool or equipment, or a pool that needs constant topping up are signs to have it tested.

What does leak detection involve?

A visual check of the shell, fittings and equipment, dye testing at suspect spots, and pressure testing of the plumbing lines. The goal is a specific location so the repair can be targeted. See pool leak detection.

Do you fix the leak too?

Yes. Once it's located we quote the repair; details are on the pool leak repair page.

What's included in weekly pool service?

Skimming, brushing, emptying baskets, vacuuming as needed, water testing and balancing, and a check of the equipment. Details and options are on the pool service and cleaning page.

Which areas do you serve?

Las Vegas, Henderson and Summerlin. If you're nearby, call and ask.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the pool, the work and how often you need service. Call for a quote; you'll know the price before any work starts.

Do you work with HOAs and property managers?
