Pool Equipment Repair in Las Vegas

The pump, filter and heater do the work that keeps your pool clean. When something hums, leaks, trips or stops, we find out why and fix it properly.

Equipment we work on

  • Pumps and motors. Single-speed and variable-speed pumps that won't prime, run loud, leak at the seal or won't start.
  • Filters. Cartridge, DE and sand filters: cleaning, broken internals, cracked tanks and high-pressure problems.
  • Heaters and heat pumps. Ignition faults, error codes, scale buildup and leaks.
  • Salt systems. Scaled or worn cells, low-salt warnings and cells that stop producing chlorine.
  • Automation and timers. Control panels, valve actuators, timers and remote control settings.
  • Cleaners. Suction, pressure and robotic cleaners that stop moving or stop picking up.

Signs something needs attention

Most equipment gives warning signs before it fails. Loud grinding or screeching from the pump usually means worn bearings. Water at the base of the pump often means a failing shaft seal. If your filter gauge reads much higher than usual, the filter is likely dirty or blocked; if it reads lower, there may be a suction problem. Air bubbles in the returns, a pump that loses prime, a heater that clicks without lighting, or a breaker that trips are all worth a call before they turn into a full replacement.

What desert heat does to equipment

Pool equipment in Las Vegas sits outside in full sun, often in a corner of the yard with little airflow. Motors run hot. Plastic housings, lids and o-rings dry out and crack. Hard water leaves scale in heaters and salt cells, which cuts efficiency and can cause overheating. Wind blows fine dust into motors and electrical boxes. Regular checks, which come with weekly pool service, catch many of these problems early.

Repair or replace?

We don't push replacement when a repair will do. A worn seal, a bad capacitor or a cracked lid are often simple fixes. When a motor is near the end of its life, a heater's main components are corroded, or parts are no longer available, replacement can be the better value. In that case we'll explain why and give you options, including variable-speed pumps that can lower running costs depending on your setup. We'll show you the numbers and let you choose.

How it works

  1. Describe the problem. Note any error codes, sounds or leaks. A photo of the equipment label helps us bring the right parts.
  2. Diagnose. We test the equipment and check related parts like plumbing, valves and electrical connections.
  3. Quote and approve. You get repair and replacement options in writing before any work.
  4. Repair and test run. We complete the work and run the system to confirm it's working right.

Pool equipment repair FAQ

Is a variable-speed pump worth it?

It depends on how long your pump runs, your current pump and your electric rate. Variable-speed pumps can cost less to run, but we'll look at your setup before recommending one.

How often should my filter be cleaned?

It depends on the filter type, pool use and how much dust your yard gets. In Las Vegas, wind and debris mean many filters need cleaning more often than the label suggests. Your filter pressure gauge is a good guide.

Why does my salt cell keep scaling up?

Hard water and high pH speed up scale on salt cells. Keeping pH balanced and cleaning the cell on schedule helps it last longer.

Do you replace equipment brands I already have?

We can usually match or replace with the brand you have, or show you alternatives if parts are hard to find.

Can you add automation to my existing pool?

Often, yes. We'll check your equipment and electrical setup and quote the options.
